Pig medicine has grown to be a major part of our business over the last ten years. We look after a wide variety of indoor and outdoor herds. Our pig team can provide advice on management, infectious disease and production. We can perform on farm post-mortem examinations and are fortunate to be able to work closely with the VLA at Thirsk, facilitating rapid diagnosis and prompt treatment.
We provide cost effective quality assurance visits in order to ensure compliance with the regulations. These are tailored to meet the needs of each client and farm; we like to use the valuable time spent on farms to help farmers to meet the relevant audit requirements (e.g. Freedom Food), whilst taking the opportunity to advise on health and management issues. |

We are delighted to be working in close association with Inchcolm Veterinary Services Ltd. to provide independent veterinary advice to poultry farmers in Yorkshire. This relationship enables clients to enjoy our local service backed up with knowledge that vaccines will be available and competitively priced.
Our convenient location enables clients to readily drop off samples for post-mortem examination, faecal worm and coccidial egg counts, enabling treatment to be instigated pending further diagnostic tests. |
