Penny Lacy, ACA – Practice Manager

Penny joined us in August 2014. She is a Chartered Accountant and spent 21 years working in the education sector as Bursar. Penny is a lifelong animal lover. The family have always owned dogs and Penny is the proud owner of Rosie, her Lakeland terrier cross.

Kathie Bell – Accounts Department

Kathie joined us in June 2013 after spending four years in New Zealand working in a business and accounts role.  With local roots and an good knowledge of the local farming industry Kathie has settled in immediately to this role.  Please contact her for any accounts related queries.

Jo McHale, Accounts Department

Jo joined Howells in February 2017 with several years of experience in various roles in accounts. Having recently moved to a farm in the area and new to the farming industry, Jo enjoys farm life and all its challenges.

Pippa Foster, S.Q.P. - Dispensary Manager

Pippa joined us in 2007 and after many years as a veterinary nurse, now runs our busy dispensary. Pippa qualified with AMTRA as an S.Q.P. in 2011 and advises clients on G.S.L. and POM-VPS products. Tim Wilkinson

Tim joined HVS in 2017 to help to manage the farm dispensary in the lead up to its relocation to Roxby Business Park later in 2018. Tim’s previous experience as warehouse manager at a local equestrian business continues to prove invaluable now that our extensive new premises are in use.   Tim is looking forward to meeting our clients at the new farm shop and dispensary and taking orders on the phone.

Claire Brimicombe, Receptionist

Claire joined us in February 2002 after studying in Edinburgh for three years to obtain a degree in Hotel Services Management. Claire knows the practice inside out and along with Victoria and Laura isis your first point of call for all enquiries.  In her spare time she enjoys running and completed her first half marathon for charity in 2010.

Victoria Gains, Receptionist and Administrator

Victoria joined us in January 2012, after working for 16 years as a pharmacy dispenser. Victoria is known to all our clients as receptionist for the whole practice, but also performs wide-ranging administrative duties for our pig practice.

Laura Bullock, Receptionist and  TB Administrator

Laura joined us in March 2014 after completing a degree in spatial design and working in an interior design showroom. Laura is well known to our cattle clients as she organises the lion’s share of our TB testing, when she is not performing her other key role on reception.
